(The gravel race route is further down the page)
The road race route has been finalized.
The route consists of 11 route segments and is a 1977 km long time trail - consisting of different kinds of road surfaces like asphalt (about 1760 km), gravel (about 130 km), cobblestone (about 1 km) and a small bit of sand - the rest is ferry distance. Click on each segment, beside the map, to have it shown on the map. The route is divided into segments because of limitations to GPX files when uploaded to a bike computer. But it should be considered one long route.
Each segment has had cuesheet added for easier navigation on bike computers. You will find POIs on each segment - churches (for water), supermarkets, bike shops, some cafés, some pharmacies, public pools (for showers), some water taps, commercial caravan parks, free shelters, free tenting areas - and some warnings about longer distances without shops and water.

The gravel race route is not being used in 2023 - it has not yet been finalized for the 2024 race.
